Privacy Policy

Effective: October 28, 2026 · BLUMI Macarons, operated by YIB LLC · San Diego, California

This policy explains how BLUMI Macarons (YIB LLC) handles personal information submitted through our retail website.

Information we collect

When you place an order or contact us, we may collect your name, email, phone number, order details, pickup or delivery preferences, delivery address, gift message, and information you voluntarily provide. When you opt in to marketing emails, we also maintain your consent preferences. Our website may use browser storage for shopping-cart and checkout-recovery functionality and receive technical records needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

We use this information to process orders, confirm payments, coordinate pickup or delivery, respond to inquiries, maintain customer and order records, prevent duplicate or fraudulent transactions, and comply with applicable obligations. We send promotional emails only where a customer has opted in, and provide an unsubscribe mechanism.

Service providers

Our services use Square for payment processing, Supabase for application data and authentication, Cloudflare for website hosting and security, and Resend for email delivery. These service providers may process relevant information to support the services they perform. We do not request payment-card numbers directly through BLUMI's checkout form; payment entry occurs through Square.

Retention and protection

We keep order, transaction, and related business records as necessary for operations, legal obligations, dispute handling, and security. We use access restrictions and other technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You can decline optional marketing emails or unsubscribe using the link in our marketing messages. To ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of information, contact us using the details below. Some records may need to be retained for legal or operational reasons.

Online tracking

We do not currently provide a separate browser “Do Not Track” preference mechanism. If our analytics or advertising practices change, we will update this policy and any required choices or notices.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the current version. Please check this page for updates.
